Black Stiletto

Here's to another new drugstore product that I finally tried and tested! Maybelline is one of my favorite brands that's not only affordable but also offers good quality products. Because I'm running out of mascara and I'm the kind of person who loves trying out new stuffs out there, I chose Maybelline Long Extreme Stiletto as a substitute for The Falsies Volum' Express.

The mascara featuring Chubette, I got her as a Christmas gift from my editor in chief.
And the black cat postcard behind her was a farewell gift from my mentor. My ex-coworkers are so lovely ♥︎

It claims to be the hottest thing lashes will ever wear. The mascara that does for lashes what stilettos do for legs, with 55% longer lashes, and shiny patent finish.

The wand is bendable, it's supposed to grasp each lash and coats from every angle easier.

Directions: Brush upwards from root to tip to grasp each lash and coat from every angle to achieve extreme length and shine. Continue building lashes until you reach your desired look. Do not let dry between coats.

Review: To tell you the truth, at first I was interested with the sleek packaging rather than the promises it gives. My lashes are thin and short, I'd be looking for a mascara that gives both length and volume. Maybelline Long Extreme Stiletto does what it promises, it lengthen my eyelashes like twice longer, it's also waterproof and as a contact lenses user I don't find it flaking. However, I'll be still constantly try another mascara out there that could give me both volume and length. About the unpleasant smelling odor, it only bothers me while applying the product. This mascara dries so fast, so don't worry about that. It can be tricky at times if you want to apply many coats, always remember not to let dry between coats or else it'll get clumpy.

What I like:

• holds my curl
• contact lens safe
• nice glossy packaging
• waterproof
• easy to find in any drugstore

What I dislike:

• unpleasant smelling odor
• clumpy when applying too many coats

Who would love: Those with thick lashes looking for length.

Time to use a bright nail polish! I'm using Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat in peach fuzz and Etude House Petit Darling HD Beam in fantastic pearl as a top coat.

The Fuzzy Coat texture is like small threads in clear base,
while the Petit Darling is a clear top coat in small glitter shimmering particles.

The result looks cute but I definitely don't love it! The nail polish was super duper difficult to remove! T^T So frustrating. Thankfully, I only did one coat and applied them just on my finger nails.

Calvin Harris - Summer.

I mustn't be the only one who loves summer, right? On Summer, I have a chance to travel to new places, meet up new people, and learn something new. My favorite Summer so far was back in 2010 when I visited West Europe. Read the stories here and here. This year, I'll be likely visiting the States again to reunite with my sister! YEAY~! Dunno if I would be able to visit somewhere new or just stay in NYC. But hopefully, my mom and I could visit our family friend in Memphis too. Four months to go! I can't wait to shop around the Times Square and Fifth Avenue!!

Last Night in Singapore

Hello my devoted readers! This is the post I've been promised to you. For those who haven't read my older posts, here we go, so I spent the rest of my summer holidays in Singapore with my two closest friends; Ardy and Liana. We spent 3 days 2 nights and it was an awesome, unforgettable and exciting journey, well, actually it was beyond words can describe. My favorite shopping place so far is Little India - Mustafa Centre, where you can get A LOT of cheap things, from gadget to chocolate.

Now, lemme share a lil bit longer story when we were at Universal Studios. Inhale... Hold your breath... Exhale...!

After a long journey from Balestier Road (this is where our hotel placed) to Vivo City, we finally at the Universal Studios, baby! *sighing* but the story hasn't over yet. We kind of puzzled what to do because Ardy's ticket should be exchanged at the redemption booth. We were a lil bit tired but we had to rush anyway. At that moment, there's only a line to encourage us, it's: "Keep your spirit up!!" I swear, although it sounds corny, that line helps to provoke us a lot.

We lunched at the outdoor, the food didn't taste really good, Liana and I bought nasi lemak while Ardy bought rendang. It's a Malaysian cuisine, so the rendang automatically tastes different with Indonesian rendang. Anyhow, I was starving to death, I didn't even care anymore with the taste.

So, that's my story while we're at Universal Studios Singapore. I promise myself I won't ever ever forget this amazing trip with Ardy and Liana. We've been thru the ups and downs. There were a lot of obstacles for us, before and after the trip, thank God we can handle them. Nevertheless, nothing can substitute experience. Am I right?

And these are some pictures we took at night. There's a thing we (Liana and I) regret until now. Well, it's until now for me. Even though I know, there's no use regretting something hahaha.. But you know, the feeling when you're kind of upset why you didn't do something that you could've done. Yeah, so at our 2nd night which also refers to be our last night in Singapore. We were so exhausted, seeing the fact we played from morning to evening at Universal Studios and we still had to walk to the bus stop and wait for about 30 minutes in order to take the public bus. I slept in the bus so did Liana, I just couldn't help my weary eyes anymore, moreover, the temperature inside the bus made me drowsy. Thank God we have Ardy who still wide awake so that we wouldn't miss the stop to Balestier :)

So, this is the main reason why do I feel regretful (as I told earlier), I was too tired *yeah blame it* till I fell asleep at the hotel and didn't join Ardy to Clarke Quay. I was at the hotel with Liana. She's also sleeping at that time. Then after I was finally able to get off my ass from the bed, I took a shower and off for very late dinner.

It was our last night. We ate a lot. And it was so sad because we had to bid goodbye to Tommy (Ardy's/ Steven's friend) and Steven who had accompanied us for 2 days. We also spent the night at Coffee Club - Orchard Road. Yes, we walked from Newton to Orchard, it's about 1.7 km. Can you imagine that? I know we were crazy and yet we enjoyed it. We back to the hotel around 4AM in the morning. We must wake up at 8AM since the flight is at 12PM.

That's all about my holiday in Singapore. How about your summer holiday? Do you spend it with your friends or family? I'd like to hear that :D

Today is the last day of my Eid Mubarak holidays. Dunno should I be happy or sad. I'm looking forward to Christmas anyways. My favorite month of the year, December. Hope it will be as amazing as my summer holidays. AMEN!

My Less Than Three

I actually don't have any idea what to write, what to share and what to post. This one is just a sudden thought so I'll make it quick. Well, here it goes!

About 6 hours ago, when I had nothing to do, I made this collage for myself, and I'm planning to put this on the back of my door. It would be way better if only I had a color ink on my printer. However, black and white photos aren't bad, are they?

A little thing about my recent life, I had such a great summer with my family and friends. I spent my summer in West Europe as I've posted it earlier and I thank God for giving me a chance to spend the rest of my summer holidays in Singapore with my closest friends. We went to Universal Studios, it was surely an unforgettable trip! Don't worry cause I'm gonna post about it as soon as my friend uploads the photos on facebook :P

Summer Time

I saw Venice. I saw Milan. I saw Lucerne. I'm spending this three days in Paris. Then I'm gonna see Brussels, Amsterdam and Dusseldorf. And I will leave my heart in here. I don't really think that I want to come back home, everything is splendid in here. Thank God I still have a lil time to stay in around Europe. Have a nice summer you guys!!

Super Summer Holidays

hello guys!! I'd love to share my vacation with y'all.

I just got back from the lovely summer in Malaysia. so, I went to Kuala Lumpur first cause the plane was landed at Kuala Lumpur Int'l Airport. we rode a something's similar to MRT in Singapore but smaller from the airport to the place where we can get our luggage. and I can't lie myself that, Malaysia including Kuala Lumpur and Genting are better than Jakarta. however, I still love my country, viva la Indonesia!

once I arrived at KLIA, I longed for a fast food. and the cheapest one, Burger King. YUHUUU! I ate them for twice, at arrival and departure to Jakarta.

then, this is our accommodation in Genting, First World Hotel, the hotel is sooooo huge consist of about 6100 rooms. this is only a three stars hotel, so you knowwwww, it doesn't good at all. I was sick with the food around there, too much curry. (sigh). and as you can see, that's the view from our room. the temperature around there, is about 19 degrees at night!! GOSH! we dont even need an air conditioner and something like that, cause, without that, I was so damn freezing! fogs everywhere.

sweet! I like sugar, chocolates, lollipops, and stuff like that. I finally made a dream, I wanna build like a sweets shop or maybe teddy bear shop! YAY! lovely....

I wasn't allowed to ride that Mary-Go-Round, it's for kids, they told me. then, this Gondola. AH, I hate thisssssssss moment.. the pictures of me are all so blurred. I know, my digicam ain't good at all.

I really wanna blame that sucks people. yeah anyway, I think they hate us too. lalala... :P

I don't know how much the temperature inside, it's kinda below 0°C. they said it's -5°C but I don't believe it at all. and I got a bad stomachace after that, LOL.

we should pay for 25 RM for each photo cause it's forbidden to bring a camera inside.

this is the situation at the indoor ThemePark. well, I could't play the outdoor, since my sister and I didn't feel good and healthy (I got stomachache), so we just shop around the plaza and take a nap.

at the cable car. they said to us again, this is the longest cable car in Southeast Asia. time to say good bye Genting, cause we're headed to Kuala Lumpur by bus.

were in Selangor and this is the monumental place to remember the glorious dead of their paladins.

honestly, I don't really like what I wore that day. the cardigan and the legging makes it bad. I planned to wear shorts and no cardigan, but Genting is kinda so cold and I was sick so I can't stand with no cardigan and shorts. I changed it into this suit. and it sucks. LOL.

after 2 nights we survived in a 3 stars hotel, finally we stayed in the 5 stars hotel (sigh).

thanks God, finally we had an internet connection, hair dryer, body lotion and conditioner for my messy hair. but the most important thing when you stay in a hotel is a hot water! it's so relaxing in every morning and night.

I smoothed my dress with an iron there. and my stupid sister with dumb face. ♥

then at the third last day, we went to Sunway Pyramid, shopping mall. cutie cutie stuffs. yay! I was searching for Crayon Shinchan comic books, yeah haven't bought the newest. when I found it, it's all in Chinese language. (doh!)
I can't even read it.

this is the Sunway Lagoon, the wet park. I didn't go for it. have no interest at all. and these aint baby shoes, it's for teddy bear! WOW! wanna buy a pair for Mishi, but I don't know whether it will suit on her or not. so, we didn't buy them.

I don't know what are those thing for, but they look cutesy for me. then we had a lunch at Papparich- Malaysian food. and hell yeah! to the wi-fi connection, twitting-twitting is always fun.

it looks like Senayan City. and fortunately, they're having an Indonesian Exhabition bout Visit Indonesia with co-op with Garuda Indonesia, Air Asia and Malaysia airlines. we went to that place about 10 PM so maybe that's why it looks so dead.

we also tried the monorail! and went to the Hard Rock Cafe.

my passport will be expired next year!! should renew it. we also bought Malaysian magazines such as Bazaar and Marie Claire. guess how much is that? only RM 7 for Marie Claire and RM 9 for Bazaar! WOOOW!

time flies too fast. we spent 5 days in Malaysia and got so much fun. I wanna go back to that place again, especially when I heard Penang is a pretty good place too for holiday, 5 hours by bus from KL. next place, I really wanna go to Germany, Macau, South Korea, and Lombok for sure.
