Bumblebee-ya~ Anyong haseyo! This month surely flies so fast. June is coming so soon and therefore, summer season will start. Told ya I've got so many things from Seoul, but laziness pervades me and I've used up most of the cosmetics I bought. HA! However this one that I'm going to review is one of the stuffs that I asked my friend to get me when she was visiting South Korea. She visited the country all way to the south, well I mean, Busan. I'm so jealous and happy for her I mean, because when I went to South Korea, I could only visit Seoul as I was on tour and the Busan or even Jeju package wasn't available back then. This gives me another good reason to visit South Korea, I'd love to travel on Spring or Fall mainly because of the weather, not too cold nor too hot.

So yeah, this one I'll be reviewing is one of the Etude House's latest releases. As a fan of the brand, I surely can't skip this collection called Dreaming Swan which was inspired by the ballet. It's a collaboration between Etude House and Kerrie Hess, an illustrator from Australia. Honestly though, I've never heard of her before, but apparently she has worked for Chanel, Kate Spade, Lancome, Ladurée, etc. Just wow, isn't it?!

Description: A pearl-cream multi shadow that absorbed smoothly on every area that needs dazzling shimmer.

What it promises:

• Transparently and delicately shiny pearl that makes moisturized lovely eyes.
• Powerful instant fitting system keeps pearl not to fall out for delicate and clear pearl expression.
• Bounce-up gel type texture to express 3D-effect volume.
• Non-sticky and moisturising texture to provide shiny volume on broad area.

Personal thought of mine about the packaging. As any other usual Etude House's packaging, it's prettier on the box rather than the actual product. Thankfully there are prints of ballerina's shoes and bow on the lid. I got mine in shade #3 twinkling tutu.

Texture wise, it's more like creamy liquid with tons of gold glitter that glides very easily and dries instantly too, so make sure to blend it nicely before it dries. While it's said on the direction that it can be used for the bridge of the nose, I seriously don't recommend you to use it on that area. It will look too glittery and you'll end up looking unnatural.

It's not an easy product for the eye area either, though it's meant to be a highlighter. The promotional photo makes it looks as if it's practical to work with, when in fact it takes me loads of trial and error. I think the problem is on the wand. Its diameter is too thick for an eye makeup product, since it picks so many liquid and it'll look messy if you directly apply it to your eye area.

The trick of using this product is to make sure you only pick a little, apply it first on the hand (to reassure you really pick only a little of it), and now you're safe to put it on bottom lash line area. However, that's too complicated! Nowadays I use it as a highlighter for my eyebrow bone because that way it's easier to blend.

K-drama updates anyone? I'm currently watching School 2015, Kim SooHyun is def my most favorite child actress, she stars as a lead in there. I think it's a cute mystery teen drama, dunno why the rating is low. Hopefully the rating will climb up until its finale. Who's with me here that agrees BTOB's SungJae is a noona killer? LOLOL. He's adorable on that drama, but nay in a variety show. Because I like Jackson much better in Big Byung. Anyways, this drama produces only great OST until now.

Hey wonderful bumblebees! Happy new year!! First post of the year, I hope I didn't disappoint you for being MIA and abandoning the #BLOGMAS. I'm so sorry. Mianhaeyo~ That's why one of my resolutions this year is to blog more (with quality of course). LOL. Don't you think time flies so fast? A bit too fast than before. Is it only me but it really feels like it passes very quickly after I started blogging last year.

My first post in 2015 is about my favorite facial essence. So I've been using Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence since early 2014, not clearly remember the month, but I did repurchased last December cause I used up the whole bottle!

Well, there are so many other Korean brands out there who produce this galactomyces contained essence actually. I wonder why I picked Secret Key in the first place as it was honestly an impulsive buying back then. This kind of treatment essence wasn't new to me, I tried the one from Missha before, sample size though.

Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence (Limited Edition).

Description: Whitening and anti-wrinkle line which contains 94% galactomyces, one of the yeast ferment filtrates. It is not only the source of the nutrition, but also has an outstanding moisturizing effect for the skin. Free of parabens, animal oils, benzophenone, flavoring, coloring, triethanolamine, mineral oil, phenoxyethanol, alcohol, and sulfates.

Please note that I don't think this product would work as amazing if I didn't do the other skin regimen such as cleansing, exfoliating, toning, etc. This essence claims to brighten and prevent wrinkles, I do see the brightening effect, but not yet the anti-wrinkle as I'm only in my early 20s. I believe it requires a long term commitment if you want to prove whether it can prevent or reduce the wrinkle.

Let's get to the review, this essence has watery and runny texture so I'd use a cotton pad and just dab it around my face. Some people might think that pouring some into the palm and pat it on the face would save the product more, but well if you're doing it that way, make sure your hands are clean.

The rose edition doesn't have any scent at all! I was surprised 'cause I thought there would be a slight rosey scent at least. On the other hand, the original edition has a quite distinguishable scent, not to the extend it's unpleasant anyways.

Packaging wise, it's made of glass, kind of heavy, therefore I definitely don't recommend this for traveling as 150ml is the only size they have. Not sure if it's going to leak, but it's rather inconvenient for me to bring this stuff.

When I run out of the original STE, I didn't restock it right away because I had to wait for the pre-order. Thus, I stopped using it for awhile, almost a month, and surely there was no sign of breakout. Honestly, I prefer this rose edition because it is odorless and it absorbs to skin more quickly. I think that's because the watery texture, it's not like the other one isn't watery, but the texture of this one is more like real water. Not to mention, the packaging looks exclusive with gold cap.

The rose edition contains 150ml, it's a tad lesser than the original one, 155ml.

It took me like half a year to finish the first bottle. However, these days I've tried to be more generous when it comes to skincare, that's why in this picture you couldn't see the shadow of the remaining essence anymore. I've finished one third of it in just a month. Muahaha!

Feels like the K-drama gods are so kind lately. Because all the good looking men are on TV! On Mon-Tue we have this hottie Ji ChangWook. Just new in, Wed-Thu drama we have HyunBin, I have had a huge crush on him since A Millionaire's First Love! And lastly on Friday, with 2 episodes in a day, we have Jaejoongieee aka the most good looking human I've ever seen in person.

Usually when a drama ends, I'd feel sad, the kind of empty feeling you know. However, that wasn't the case for Pinocchio! I did a little talk about the drama before, it was a lovely drama to catch up but I mustn't be the only one who wanted the drama to end a little sooner as I saw HyunBin in those upcoming drama previews, right? x_x Thankfully they aired episode 18 and 19 on the same day so that Hyde, Jekyll, Me would premiere on schedule.

Not A Prime Time

Finding the right product for your own skin is all about trial and error, right? Sometimes when it doesn't work, I'll just be like "Oh, too bad but it's okay." However, when it breaks out my skin, it will drive me crazy!

First time I purchased a primer was a year ago when I visited my sister in the States. I thought I needed a primer because I'd do a lot of outdoor activities from morning till night every single day. Not to mention it was Summer, surely I had to give an extra care to my oily T-zone.

Back then, I didn't read much of beauty blogs, so I asked my friends who is a makeup artist, and she told me Sephora collection has a decent primer at affordable prices. So yeah, a week after my arrival in NYC, I went to Sephora and purchased these two primers as I wasn't sure which one would work on me.

Sephora Perfecting Ultra-Smoothing Primer and Anti-Shine Foundation Primer.

My impression about Sephora Perfecting Ultra-Smoothing Primer, it did soften my skin, it did a good job at covering my pores, I loved the silky feeling of this primer. However, it kept flaking as I was following my makeup with BB cream, and it made my T-zone oilier than ever. Besides, I noticed how my forehead broke out with this primer and the packaging was not meant for this primer, the primer dried out at the nozzle, and it would form a blob. Meaning you've got to spare extra time cleaning it.

Moving on to the Anti-Shine Foundation Primer, I don't think if I can point out a good thing of this primer except that it's formulated without parabens just like the previously mentioned. This primer seriously didn't live up to the 8 hour oil control promise! I couldn't see how it made my skin less shiny. They especially formulated this without synthetic fragrance, but I dislike anything with bad smells sitting on my face unless it's beneficial to my skin. This primer has an overly chemical smell in it. What even worse, the pump was broken and nothing literally comes out due to the broken pump.

Well, you can actually just open the bottle packaging and scoop the primer with a cotton swab if you experience troubles with the pump like me, but both of the products left such unpleasant results so I didn't even bother to try them anymore. Now that I think about it again, why didn't I return these to Sephora since I wasn't pleased at all.

Remember that just because these products don’t work on me, it doesn't mean that they will not be effective on you. Everybody’s skin responds to different products in their own way. Let me share my most favorite K-dramas at the moment! I am totally hooked on Marriage Not Dating and It's Okay, It's Love! Been stalking their threads on Soompi's forums for the updates and speculations of the storyline LOL. So I would recommend these dramas to everyoneeee! ^^

Marriage Not Dating and It's Okay, It's Love.

Marriage Not Dating is like a breath of fresh air, you know. Certainly a thing you need after following makjang dramas, such as You're All Surrounded, Hotel King, and the current one; Temptation. I like how all of the casts have this chemistry (even in the BTS). The drama is full of comedic scenes in each episode makes me laugh my arse off. Although I hated Yeon WooJin's character in Arang and The Magistrate and I felt bad for him in When A Man Loves, I announce that he is my new eye candy because of this drama. Isn't he charming as a plastic surgeon?

Whereas It's Okay, It's Love is the kind of rom-com that you feel like it's just an average one at first. However, as I watched the 4th episode, it has completely changed my mind! There's a dark side in it where many characters (including both of the leads) have their own psychological disorders. One more reason why this drama catches my attention is because /SPOILER ALERTS/ Jo InSung, the male lead, suffers from Schizophrenia, a mental illness that I had particularly focused on ever since I wrote a short movie with a character that suffers from Schizophrenia too and I really enjoy watching a drama that triggers my curiosity. Jo InSung must get a Daesang for his role! Check out their OST and BGM too, they are so darn good. There's actually one upcoming OST that I and fellow users on Soompi have been curious about. Not so sure who the singers are, but it's such a lovely duet ballad song. Hopefully they will release it today.

So there's this Korean drama that I've been attached to for like 2 months!
It's My Love From Another Star or You Who Came From The Stars or 별에서 온 그대 or yeaah you name it. The drama currently airs every Wednesday & Thursday at 10PM (KST).

My first utmost reason to follow the drama! Couldn't resist his thick eyebrows and curled lips.

I've been a fan of Kim SooHyun oppa since his drama Dream High and The Moon Embraces The Sun. He's too charming as a human, so it's a fit perfect role as an alien this time, yes? I'm planning to attend his upcoming fan meeting with my chinggu :D

I've adored Jun JiHyun since I was in middle school, watching her movie My Sassy Girl. Gahhh! She's so adorable and pretty! I think she's the prettiest 30 something actress in South Korea. Well, if you haven't watched this drama yet, I suggest you to hurry watch it online!! It's the BEST 2013 K-drama, it's not that I didn't watch the other dramas in 2013, I do watch A LOT of Korean dramas that I feel my university and working life are pretty distractive because of it *sigh*.

Anyway, I'm going to show you my makeup inspired by the lead role, Cheon SongYi a.k.a the funniest lead role everrrr~!

Cheon SongYi always wears different lipstick in each episode, I can't tell exactly how many lipstick she has worn until the latest episode. But the most popular one is the YSL Rouge Pur Couture No. 52 Rosy Coral.

Here's the look that I created to achieve Cheon SongYi's natural beauty. Her skin is super healthy and milky. She doesn't use thick eyeshadow makeup nor a heavy eyeliner, her eyeshadow is a very natural color which mostly just a matte nude color. Overall, she enhances her looks at the lips and dewy face.

If you look closely to Cheon SongYi eyebrows, she doesn't do much with it. Although she has a light brown hair color, it seems like she doesn't bleach or use a brown shade eyebrow mascara. I'd love to do the same like her, but I recently got my eyebrows bleached...
For the eyeshadow, from the NAKED Basics, I'm using W.O.S & Naked2 at the lid, Crave at the upper waterline. Lastly, Foxy shade and Venus on the browbone.

For the lips:

• Etude House Woo Baby Plumping Tint in pink

Here's how the lipstick looks like. It's messy 'cause I've used it a couple of times. 

It has 3 layers, that's why it's called Triple Core 3D, because its purpose is to give an illusion of fullness, shapeliness and amazing volume. It consists of an outer coral layer, white centre layer with shimmering particles and a lavender pink inner layer. What I dislike this lipstick is its shimmering particles that I found it's hard to remove the glitters even with makeup remover. *sigh*

I started liking this guy ever since I watch his acting in 7th Grade Civil Servant. YES, it was not a long time ago. Then I started browsing about him, from his past dramas, activities and of course who he was.

So he started debuting as a musical actor. Ah, that's why he got a nice voice. I mean, a really good voice that you'll love it. I always find a baritone voice interesting, but his voice, not a baritone of course, yet I still love love loveeee it. He really has a good singing technique.

He is Moon Jun Won also known as Joo Won.

Now to the reason why I really admire this guy. His acting skills! You really can feel the emotion with his acting, when he acts like a bad guy, he's really that bad guy, when he acts cute, you can't help but you wanted to pinch his cheeks. HAHA.

Then I watched him in Bridal Mask, which really brings me questions like, what kind of guy he is in real life, so I watched him in 1N2D; a variety show in Korea. It's so unbelievable he has a 180' different character. He's like a cute little boy in 1N2D, he's too cute, he he...

My Favorite Sheet Masks

As much as I love wearing traditional mask and my Tomatox magic pack. Can't lie I love using sheet masks.

Why?

Because it's practical. I don't need to wash away, et cetera.

I use different kinds of mask sheet. Even so, before buying several, I'd ask the sales attendant, which kind of mask that would suit my skin type (oily sensitive-combination; acne prone skin)? I think it's more like routinely activity than a must for me. I wouldn't get troubled face if I didn't use any of these. It's just fun and relaxing to have some mask time while surfing the net, watching movies or sleeping if it is a sleeping mask. Haha! I use one of these masks every 3 days!

However, if I had a facial treatment, I would just use 1 mask sheet in a week because my skin would get extra sensitive by then! ;)

Now, I'm going to show you my FAVORITE mask sheets from different brands:

Real Nature Mung Bean Mask from The Face Shop

Price: IDR 19000

Reason: Because I have an oily combination acne prone skin, and the Mung bean a.k.a green beans are well known effective for clearing up blemishes on oily acne prone skin, so I really recommend this type of face mask. It can heal acne scars, or even lighten hyperpigmentation on skin. It smells fine for me too :)

Natural Pulp Essence Tea Tree Mask from TonyMoly

Price: IDR 19000 (as it can be seen at the barcode)

Reason: Clearly because it's tea tree! Tea tree oil is well known for it's anti-fungal, anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties. So yeah, that explains why ^^ And besides, this mask sheet has a lot of water essence in it, so it wouldn't easily dry (or a bit dry) even after 15mins of usage. Besides, it's very affordable, 'cause I'll have a 10% discount for every purchase of TM's skin care products :D

Real Mask Sheet Chestnut Shell Mask from Etude House

Price: I got this at IDR 68000 for 3!! (They're currently having discounts for so many items, so hurryyy!)

Reason: Well, it's said that this sheet mask formulated with REAL chestnut shell for exfoliant care. Whoa.. I wonder how a sheet mask can do exfoliant :P But I really really love the packaging (not only the outer appearance of it but the inner one!) They have a kind of film that helps you to unfold the mask, because the mask is very thin, and very soft. I mean it. It's super soft that I really find it interesting when applying the mask! HAHA! Too bad it easily absorbs my skin so the mask would be dry in 15-20 mins. *le sigh*

Lettuce and Cucumber Water Essence Mask from Skin Food

Price: I forgot :( It would probably be around IDR 50000.

Reason: This must be the best mask around all of the mask that I've reviewed just now. However because it's a little pricey, I don't always wear this mask. What I love about this mask is because of it's texture of the mask! It's not as soft as the Etude House's Real Mask collection, in fact it has a whole different texture, but trust me, you'll find it extra relaxing wearing this mask because it has a lot of water essence that it doesn't dry! I thought maybe I could wear it twice?? HAHA kidding! Why lettuce and cucumber? Ok, lemme explain, lettuce is good for oily skin, lettuce also works well to sooth irritated and sunburned skin. While cucumber; as cucumber and the skin share the same level of hydrogen, it becomes easier for cucumber to mask all the problem areas. It helps in soothing and softening your skin which can get you relaxed in no time. With so many useful ingredients in cucumber it can help you in treating so many skin problems.

Talking about my recent life, I just finished my short semester so now I have a break from schoool! YEAAAY! Too bad, having a week off doesn't really entertain me, I just stay at home, watching K-dramas. AH! There are a lots of GOOD K-drama that currently airing in Korea! So I had like 4 dramas that I'd been following, but then I really got confused by myself so I eliminated one by one.

I watched Yawang/ Queen of Ambition (played by Kwon Sang Woo and Uknow Yunho. Geezzz! I like Soo Ae, I just hate hate really hate her character in this drama! You know when you just hate the lead female that it could make you so lazy to watch the drama, you just can't take it anymore even though you LOVE the lead male. Kwon Sang Woo is my FIRST favorite Korean actor. I started to love him when I watched Stairway To Heaven on my 3rd year of middle school hahaha! That I even follow a fan site of him, named "Sangwoo-jjang". LOL LOL :'D

Back to the topic, I finally eliminated Yawang from the list after watching the 4th episode. Nuff said, I just dislike the female lead.

Then I have 7th Grade Civil Servant. It airs on MBC every Wednesday and Thursday 21:55 KST replacing I Miss You (which played by Yoochun-ie oppa). This drama is too hilarious! Joo Won (the male lead) and Choi Kang Hee (the female lead) make a perfect couple. Firstly, I know Choi Kang Hee from Protect The Boss (which she plays this drama with Jaejoong-ie and Ji Sung), damn! Why is she always in the drama that involves good looking men. I mean, in 7th Grade Civil Servant, she also plays with 2PM's Chansung! Secondly, I couldn't wait for another Thursday ('cause the English subtitles would be available around Thursday night) to see Joo Won's aegyo! He really does a lot of aegyo in this movie. Unlike his character in Bridal Mask, he does too much cuteness in this drama, just like in his real life (if you follow 1N2D variety show). Seriously, how can you ignore him with all his cuteness?! KKK~!

And on SBS at the same day and time, we have That Winter, The Wind Blows; played by Zo In Sung and Song Hye Gyo! It has a really interesting plot of melodrama. I haven't cried till the 5th eps tho'. But seeing the plot and how fast they unravel things till this latest episode's upcoming preview. Well well, I ain't doing reviewing and stuff but Zo In Sung is so handsome. Could hardly resist! X_x

Again, on KBS2, IRIS 2! ARGH! This is too much! Jang Hyuk casts along with Lee Dae Hee. I love Jang Hyuk since his drama, Midas. Speaking of IRIS 2, whoever watch the first IRIS will anticipate this sequel, won't they? I. Just. Can't. Take. No. More. Nevertheless, watching 4 K-dramas at the same time is extremely challenging for me. And a drama like IRIS, might cause a burden for me because of its story.

I eventually eliminated IRIS 2 *BOO!* and just continuing watching 7th Grade Civil Servant and That Winter, The Wind Blows, just because I like Joo Won and Zo In Sung the most. LOLOL. Actually, Kwon Sang Woo but I dislike his character, his partner's character and the story!

So yeah, I'm pretty busy by myself because of these dramas. Hahaha!

Recently I rewarded myself with a new polaroid camera!! YOOHOOO! It's the new instax from Fujifilm, called Instax Mini 8. It comes in 5 different colors; pink, yellow, blue, white and black. All in pastel.

I adore pink colour, any kind of pink, be it a baby pink, hot pink, shocking pink :]

On the spot photo right after purchasing! This is a Hamicat Film.

Ya! Pororo! Porong porong!!

FYI, I use a Pororo theme song for my alarm. And it always successfully wakes me up every time it rings, kkk~

I wish they'd still sell the Pororo mini instax film. I literally can't find it anywhere :'( they said it was a limited edition one. If anyone of you knows where to buy one in Jakarta, or whether buying it online, kindly inform me. It's so unfair because they still sell the Instax Wide Pororo film :/

Another (unlogically-reasonable) reason why I bought this is because I wanted to capture my sister's wedding *in a few months* with the Wedding film!
